# Pricing Details Last updated: Oct 20, 2025 ## How We Bill Basis Theory bills customers based on the number of tokens stored in their vault. This page explains what a token is, how token usage is counted, and how billing works. ## What is Basis Theory’s Standard Pricing? Our standard platform fee is $995/month for 20,000 tokens stored in your vault per calendar month. Any additional tokens are charged at a rate of $0.05 per token. The platform fee is charged at the beginning of the month and any overages are charged at the end of the month. ## What is a Token? A token is any item stored in a vault within a tenant.
